Fantastic Johansen, Poor Norwood – The best and the worst rated Fulham players vs Norwich

Norwich City 0-2 Fulham: Johansen Guides Cottagers To Crucial Win

Fulham strengthened their position in the table and kept the heat on Cardiff City with a comprehensive victory over Norwich City.

Norwich had more shots in the game but Fulham were just more clinical with their finishing, which paved the way to their victory. Denis Odoi and Stefan Johansen were the standout performers for Fulham, with a tidy goal from Tom Cairney putting the game to bed.

It was a good team performance from the Cottagers against an inconsistent Norwich team.

Fulham Player Ratings

Marcus Bettinelli – 7/10

Bettinelli didn’t have too much to do, with only 2 of Norwich’s shots being on target. However, he did the business when called upon.

Ryan Fredericks – 7/10

Won a lot of tackles and had a high pass success rate. A reliable performance from the 25-year-old left-back.

Denis Odoi – 8/10

Odoi has been a rock at the centre of the Fulham defence this season and continued with more of the same today, winning two tackles, four of his aerial duels and even having an 85% pass completion rate. Odoi had a great game.

Tim Ream – 7/10

The 30-year-old didn’t stand out in this game but did what was required of him. Went home with the clean sheet intact.

Matt Targett – 7/10

Targett was solid at the back but didn’t really offer too much going forward in this game. He’ll be happy with the clean sheet but his manager will want him to be more of a threat down the left flank in the future.

Tom Cairney – 7/10

Cairney had a very good game, having three shots on target and scoring a good goal. He also had a pass rate of 90%, pulling the strings in the midfield.

Kevin McDonald – 6/10

McDonald had a fairly average game. He managed to break up the oppositions’ play a few times but didn’t really do much to propel his team forward. He also received a yellow card and was replaced quite early, in the 68th minute.

Stefan Johansen – 8/10

Johansen took his goal well and matched Cairney on the right when it came to creativity in the three-man midfield. A good game from the attacking midfielder.

Lucas Piazon – 7/10

Worked well for his team defensively but didn’t really cause too much threat going forward, apart from his one shot.

Aleksandar Mitrovic – 6/10

A surprisingly bad performance in comparison to recent weeks. It’s not surprising that he was taken off in the 78th minute.

Lucas Piazon (on the ball)

Floyd Ayite – 6.5/10

Didn’t have the best of games. Looked quite dangerous when running at players but zero end product once he got to his destination.

Substitutes

Ryan Sessegnon – 6/10

Replaced Ayite in the 54th minute but never really got going. Disappointing from the youngster in comparison to his other performances this season.

Oliver Norwood – 5/10

Came on in the 68th minute. Had no shots, got booked and was not good.

Aboubakar Kamara – 6/10

Came on to replace Mitrovic in the 78th minute to hopefully add more attacking flair but didn’t really do much apart from getting booked.
