According to Daily Star, Arsenal are plotting a sensational player exchange deal for Bayern Munich player David Alaba. Arsenal are even ready to swap their star defender Laurent Koscielny in order to lure the versatile player away from the German Champions.
Recently David Alaba expressed his desire to play in his favored central midfield position and also revealed that he do not want to be a left back anymore.
He said:
‘The club sees me at the moment as a left defender. But I see myself as a midfielder and I have all of that in mind.
‘I try to keep quiet in this regard, but it is a goal of mine to become a regular for Bayern in central midfield.’
As Arsenal already have two decent left backs, Alaba’s wish for a central role will mostly be granted if he signs for the North London club. But is it really worth to swap a great defender like Koscielny for a player with no premier league experience? Please vote in the poll below,
