Rangers vs Dundee Report: Rangers Match Report
Rangers eased past Dundee 4-0 at the Ibrox to stay within eight points of league leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. Glen Kamara, James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos and Jermaine Defoe were on the scoresheet for the Gers, who were comfortable throughout.
Kamara opened the scoring in the fourth minute against his old team with a near post finish after Tavernier found him with a cross in a set-piece situation.
The captain doubled the lead four minutes later to ease the game in favour of Steven Gerrard’s men.
Back from suspension in the league, Morelos was in action in the 23rd minute when Scott Arfield found him in the box. The striker was never going to miss that chance.
Defoe completed the formalities of the fourth goal in the 89th minute after Ryan Jack delivered a good ball for him to score.
Dundee were no match on the night. The win stretches Rangers’ unbeaten run to nine games, as they stay within eight points of Celtic, with few games still to go.
