Everton opinion: Should the Toffees sign Ante Rebic?

A part of Croatia’s squad which made it to the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Rebic has been one of the stars of Frankfurt team this season, having scored 8 goals and assisted 3 in 20 appearances in the Bundesliga so far.
Rebic’s performances this season have been overshadowed at times by Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller but he has been one of Adolf Hutter’s most important players so far. The Croatian has been mainly used as a second striker this season but has also featured in the number 10 role.
Rebic’s quickness and phenomenal control over the ball also enable him to play on either wing and he has done so on multiple occasions for both club and country so far in his career.
His dribbling skills help him a lot to take on players and his trickery on the ball has often left opponents on the ground and embarrassed.

The one trait that makes Rebic so dangerous as a second striker is his phenomenal ability to shoot from distance. Unlike most players who possess a scary shot from distance, Rebic is incredibly smart in front of goal.
He knows when to use his power and when to catch the goalkeeper out of position. His variation of power and placement in shooting often confuses a goalkeeper.
