Enough Is Enough! Chelsea Need To Buy These 2 Players To Win The Title This Season

Two Players Who Chelsea Need To Sign To Compete For The League Title

Chelsea managed to avenge their embarrassing loss in the first game of the season with a victory over North London giants Tottenham Hotspur, winning the first derby of the new Premier League season. Antonio Conte will be happy with the way his side bounced back but will know that he needs to improve his squad before the deadline day if his side are to compete for the title this season as well.

The Champions of England have made a number of decent additions to their squad but recent reports suggest that Conte is still not happy with the options at his disposal and is now ready to spend over £200m before the window shuts. There is not a lot of quality up for move at the moment but here are three players who can help Chelsea to perfectly defend their title:

Julian Draxler (PSG)

The PSG star has no place in the first team at the Parc de Princes as he as fallen down the pecking order after the arrival of summer recruits. The French giants, who failed to land the league title last season, decided to spend big and bring Brazil super star Neymar Jr to the club, and are now ready to get rid of the German playmaker, who is easily one of the best in the world at the moment.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are all interested in his signature but Antonio Conte should look at him as a possible option to improve his side’s creativity in front of goal. A front line of Eden Hazard, Julian Draxler and Alvaro Morata is mouthwatering and it is something that is not too far away from landing the title.

Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

The Dutch defender has handed in a transfer request to the Saints earlier this summer but the English club maintain that he is not for sale. Reports claim that Anfield is his preferred destination but Chelsea have monitored his situation closely and with the defensive frailties they have shown in the last couple of games, Van Dijk has suddenly become a necessity at the Bridge.

Conte spent on Antonio Rudiger, who might take time to adjust to the league and Van Dijk will only help smoothen the transition. He can walk into the Chelsea first team and would command the box, instantly improving Chelsea’s backline. He can easily lift them to another league title and may be even help them win the Champions League!
