Seria A’ top scorer El Shaarawy feels that a win against league leaders and regning champions Juventus would be priceless for AC Milan who are stuck at the wrong end of the table. The Rossoneri have taken just a point from their last two league games and are currently in 12th place with only 15 points with 13 games played. Speaking ahead of their game gainst cahmpions Juventus, El Shaarawy said:
“Tomorrow is a super-important game in terms of the league table, but also for our growth as a team,” he told reporters at a press conference.
“A victory would be priceless, but we need to give 150 per cent to achieve that. To win and score under the Curva Sud would be fantastic.”
The 20-year-old has fast become Milan’s talisman with several high-profile team-mates enduring inconsistent campaigns, but he says it is a responsibility that brings the best out of him as a player.
“Responsibility motivates me and I do not feel pressure,” he added.
“My team-mates, the club and fans all have faith in me. It’s all happening so quickly and it is everything a 20-year-old dreams of. It’s very gratifying especially for my parents, who made so many sacrifices to help me.”
