Rangers crashed to their second defeat of the season as Dolly Menga’s first goal for Livingston was enough to give Gary Holt’s men all three points on Saturday.
It was an incredible team effort from Livingston, who moved level with Hibernian in second place on 14 points after seven games.
As far Rangers are concerned, Steven Gerrard will be concerned with his team’s flat performance at the Tony Macaroni arena.
He was beaten all ends up for the only goal of the game. McGregor made a vital save in the second half to keep Rangers in the game but the players failed to make the most of it.
Got forward very well as usual but his crossing was not up to the mark. Was defensively suspect and he was ball watching for the goal. Very poor from the team’s skipper.
Goldson was far from his best against Livingston. He lacked the calmness which he is usually known for while defending.
Worrall had a tough time alongside Goldson in central defence. Was beaten in the air easily and was untidy with his passing.
Barisic showed great energy at left-back and got forward well at times.
Coulibaly was poor as he failed to control the tempo of the game from the midfield. He was rightfully taken off by the manager.
Failed to influence the game when Rangers went down. His experience and creativity were required to bring Rangers back in the game but sadly, nothing came to the floor.
Looks to be the only Rangers player to come out with some credit. Ejaria had a really good first half but he tailed off once the opposition scored. Had an immediate chance to equalise but he sent his header over the bar.
Candeias looked anonymous throughout the game. The Portuguese failed to influence the proceedings after the break and looked out of depth against Livingston.
Lafferty started on the left wing and he had a poor game just like his teammates. Was good in the air but his control and touches on the ball deserted him. Lafferty and Morelos are a complete mismatch.
Morelos was a constant pest for the Livingston defence. He worked very hard but to no avail.
Replaced Coulibaly at the break but couldn’t impact the game.
A bundle of energy, Middleton tried too hard to make things happen but it just didn’t click for the youngster.
