Despite Crystal Palace’s troubled start to the season there is certainly one player who is pulling his weight. Surprisingly Andros Townsend tops a leader board of successful dribbles completed this season with 24. This represents a total significantly higher than any of his closest rivals, such as Joshua King, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain who all sit second on 21, a massive 7 below Townsend.

Even at the you won’t get great odds on Townsend to beat the likes of Sanchez, Hazard, Sterling, Sane, Mane, Salah and others. Townsend will be a massive favourite to lead the dribbling table till the end of the season and rightly so. Get you betting brains on and have a punt on him.

Townsend’s percentage of successful dribbles is also strong with 80% of his attempted dribbles being successful. Although across all players this represents the 17th highest % dribble success rate. Leroy Fer leads the charge in this respect with 12 of his 13 attempted dribbles being successful, representing an impressive % dribble success rate of 92.3%.
