Dyche to make no changes – Predicted 4-4-2 Burnley Line-up to face Brighton and Hove Albion

Predicted Burnley Line-up To Face Brighton and Hove Albion In The Premier League

After a 1-1 draw at Stoke, Burnley host Brighton at Turf Moor on Saturday in the Premier League.

Ashley Barnes salvaged a point for Burnley last weekend to boost his club’s European hopes for next season. The Clarets are in a good run of form and manager Sean Dyche will hope that his boys continue the run and beat Brighton on Saturday.

A win over the Seagulls will take Burnley to 56 points, a point below 6th-placed Arsenal, who travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday.

Probable Burnley XI

Manager: Sean Dyche

Formation: 4-4-2

Nick Pope (GK)

Pope has been in terrific form this season since becoming the club’s No.1 between the sticks.

Matthew Lowton (RB)

Lowton has brought aggressiveness and zest to the Burnley defence and has really excelled on the right-hand side.

James Tarkowski (CB)

Tarkowski has been a rock at the back for the Clarets this season. It comes as no surprise that he was called up to the England squad by Gareth Southgate.

Kevin Long (CB)

In Ben Mee’s absence, Long has stepped up his game and has formed an excellent partnership with Tarkowski at the back. He will have his task cut out against Glenn Murray and co.

Stephen Ward (LB)

Always disciplined and dependable, Ward is having a good season with Burnley and will look to put in a strong display against Brighton.

Aaron Lennon (RW)

Lennon has been a fine acquisition for the Clarets. A player with a lot of pace and skill, the former Spurs man needs to improve his end product. However, he still remains a constant threat to the opposition.

Ashley Westwood (CM)

Westwood brings a lot of bite and energy to the midfield. He makes important tackles, breaks the opposition’s play and is a good crosser of the ball. He must start on Saturday.

Jack Cork

Jack Cork (CM)

Cork has been a sensational player for the Clarets since leaving Swansea City. He sits at the base of the midfield, protects the defence and makes important contributions to the attack as well. A sure starter against the Seagulls.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson (LW)

The Iceland international is proving his worth under Sean Dyche. He brings a lot of pace and incisiveness and always looks good going forward. An excellent crosser of the ball, the winger will be a thorn in the Brighton’s defence.

Ashley Barnes

Ashley Barnes (ST)

Barnes is in hot form at the moment. He scored at Stoke which was his 6th goals in 8 games. The forward is capable of scoring goals out of nowhere and is always at the right place at the right time.

Chris Wood (ST)

A natural goal-scorer, Wood will complement Barnes in the attack. The New Zealand international is always a handful and fits Burnley’s style of play.
