West Ham United’s struggles continue even after new manager David Moyes’ arrival. To get them back to a fighting spot was always going to be quite an uphill task and it will be extremely tough for them to claw their way out of relegation danger. Currently sitting in the 19th spot, the Hammers need to make several changes. It remains to be seen as to whether or not sacking Slaven Bilic was the right idea but until then Moyes must focus on rebuilding the squad.
The January transfer window will be a good chance for them to do just that. Recent reports suggest that West Ham could make a move for Arsenal’s Theo Walcott and Augsburg defender Daniel Opare. If they manage to land both their targets, how would their lineup look?

Adrien Silva (GK)
Moyes also has Joe Hart in his team but Silva has been a lot stronger at the back when compared to the former Manchester City keeper.
Daniel Opare (RB)
Pablo Zabaleta has been quite solid but Opare boasts of better quality. Moreover, it could be a good idea for Moyes to bring him in as a means of providing more competition to Zabaleta. However, this move could potentially bring about more troubles for Sam Byram.
Angelo Ogbonna (CB)
Ogbonna scored West Ham’s only goal against City in their recent match and he has proven to be quite solid for the Hammers at the back throughout the season so far.
Winston Reid (CB)
Reid has linked quite well with Ogbonna and the duo could prove to be a lot more solid once he is back from injury – just in time to play with his new teammates.
Aaron Cresswell (LB)
Opare can also play as a left-back but Cresswell is likely to continue in his usual spot. In case he endures an injury, the potential target could fill the void.
Cheikhou Kouyate (DM)
The player did succumb to an injury in the game against City, which is likely to be an issue for West Ham. However, he is expected to recover by the time the new players join and considering his impressive displays, it is possible for him to be a part of the squad.
Pedro Obiang (DM)
More than Mark Noble, Obiang has proven to be strong in this position and his effective controlling of the pace will be crucial to West Ham’s success.
