Dream Manchester United Lineup Featuring Lukaku And Bakayoko

Manchester United are set to make some serious improvements to their squad this summer as they look to compete for four different titles next season. The manager has already completed the signing of star striker Romelu Lukaku this summer but is also on the lookout for other players who can improve the squad next season.

He is looking at a few players to improve his options in the midfield and one player reportedly close to a move to the club is AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The 22-year old is a target for Chelsea this summer but reports suggest that United are have hijacked the bid and have moved closer to the player’s signature.

So how will United look with their new signings next season? Here is the predicted lineup for the Red Devils for the new season, including Romelu Lukaku and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The manager is expected to stick with a 4-3-3 system to get the best out of his midfielders.

Dream Man United XI:

Defence

Though David de Gea is still linked with an exit, it increasingly looks like he might stay back and should start in goal next season. Antonio Valencia is sure to get some competition for his right-back role but at the moment, he is the first choice for Jose Mourinho. Luke Shaw or Marcos Rojo are also sure to get an upgrade, who could be in the first team come the start of the season.

In Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof, Mourinho should be able to field a centre-back pairing including two players who he has spent on, since taking charge at Old Trafford.

Midfield

With Paul Pogba expected to start on the left side of the midfield three, United have two places to fill in the midfield. Newbie Bakayoko, who is not too far away from completing his move to the club should start as the deepest of the midfielders.

Andre Herrera could start on the right side of the midfield while Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini,# if is still at the club, can complete the midfield.

Attack

Henrikh Mkhitaryan showed signs of form last season and is expected to start on the right wing while Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will constantly fight for one place on the left flank.

Belgian star Romelu Lukaku should lead the attack with the two young wingers acting as backup.
