Dream Leicester City line-up to play next season featuring 24-year-old German International

After the 5-0 demolition at the hands of Crystal Palace last weekend, it is clear Leicester City need reinforcements ahead of the next season.

Claude Puel has done a good job this season but his aim to qualify for the Europa League is done and dusted following the dismal defeat at Palace.

However, last weekend’s loss is enough to open Puel’s eyes to the fact that his team are still short of claiming a place in Europe.

Leicester City Dream XI

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Manager: Claude Puel

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

Schmeichel has been a permanent fixture in Leicester’s goal and that won’t change next season.

Danny Simpson (RB)

Simpson has shown great energy and determination while playing for the Foxes. He is very likely to hold on to his place next season.

Harry Maguire (CB)

One of Leicester’s brightest sparks this season, Maguire has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League. His improvement over the last couple of years has been staggering, to say the least.

Harry Maguire

Wes Morgan (CB)

Partnering Maguire at the heart of Leicester’s defence will be Wes Morgan. The captain of the club and a very good organiser, the Jamaican will look to improve next season.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

Chilwell is one of the most exciting prospects in English football. He has impressed at left-back this season and will continue to keep veteran Christian Fuchs out of the side next term.

Wilfred Ndidi (CM)

Ndidi has been immense this campaign for the Foxes. A fantastic tackler, the Nigerian will be a crucial player as Leicester aim for a better 2018/19 season.

Adrien Silva (CM)

The Portuguese will start alongside Ndidi in Leicester’s midfield. He is yet to fully adapt to the Premier League and next season would be a massive one for Silva.

Fousseni Diabate (RW)

On the left should be Diabate, Leicester City’s January signing. Diabate can play as an attacking midfielder or up front but is most comfortable on the wings.

Amin Younes (LW)

Amin Younes’ contract with Ajax will expire at the end of the season and that would make him available for free. A nippy and stylish forward, Younes is a delight to watch and Leicester must try signing him in summer.

Kelechi Iheanacho (CAM)

Iheanacho has failed to live up to the standards he had set at Manchester City. However, there is no denying his talent as the Nigerian would look to deliver the goods for the Foxes next campaign.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy (ST)

Leading the attack for the Foxes will be none other than Jamie Vardy. He is a poacher who loves to snap at one mistake or opportunity presented by the opposition.
