According to the reports coming from The Guardian, Vfs Wolfsburg’s Belgian International Kevin De Bruyne has agreed personal terms with Premier League giants Manchester City.
If this deal takes place, which looks more likely, De Bruyne will be Manuel Pellegrini’s fifth major signing of the summer. The only question that still remains is whether the fee offered by City will be acceptable by Wolfsburg or not.
City’s latest bid of £50-55m must be enough to secure De Bruyne’s signature. The 24-year-old midfielder is set to be offered a five-year contract worth in the region of £200,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium. This will be De Bruyne’s second spell in the Premier League as he was a [art of Chelsea before being sold to the German side in 2014.
