Done Deal: Manchester United Complete The Transfer Of This Defender

Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick Jackson has joined Wolverhampton on a season long loan deal.

The 19-year-old had signed a contract extension earlier in the summer but with several strong names in the defense currently, will look develop away from the club. He made into the first team of United last season under Louis Van Gaal where he made 14 appearances. The return of Luke Shaw has resulted in his drop in the pecking order of selection for Manchester United defenders.

He was voted the club’s U-21 player of the year and has a contract with Manchester United till 2020. Jose Mourinho is currently in a difficult situation regarding the size of the squad and the lack of game time for several players, as a result, the youngsters are being sent out on loan. The Portuguese manager has also said that he works with 23 men squad for most of the teams and he plans to do the same with United. The club is hopeful that when Borthwick-Jackson returns he will make it to the 23.
