Done Deal! Chelsea Target Confirms Transfer As He Says Final Goodbye With His Previous Club

Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Eduardo is all set to be announced for Chelsea. The player has played his final game for the club and after helping Zagreb to a 3-2 aggregate win over Red Bull Salzburg has said goodbye to the fans and the club.

He has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the recent weeks and looks like the deal is set to be announced soon. Let’s be clear at this point, the player has not explicitly told the media that he will be joining Chelsea but Sky Sports believe that Stamford Bridge is the likeliest destination.

Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois remains their undisputed no. 1 but the backup goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is reported to be ready to leave Stamford Bridge this time. Speaking to the media Eduardo mentioned that he will be joining a big club and expressed his happiness in helping Zagreb qualify for the Champions League group stage.

He said, “This was a beautiful story, but I got a chance to go to a big club. It is the opportunity of a lifetime and I think I deserve it. I am leaving Dinamo with the club qualified for the Champions League and I am thrilled with that success.”
