Done Deal: Chelsea Midfielder Reveals He’s Quitting Stamford Bridge To Join Leicester

Chelsea U-18 regular player Faiq Bolkiah is ready to move out of Stamford Bridge and head to Leicester City. The player himself informed of the same in a recent post in instagram with a picture of him meeting the Foxes Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

“Happy to announce I have signed a long term contract at Leicester would like to thank all my family an close friends for all the support. Was also a pleasure meeting the owner himself.  Can’t wait to get started.”

Bolkiah joined Chelsea in 2014 in a two year Scholarship and will be leaving at the end of the same despite having been a regular feature in the U-18 first team.

According to ESPN, Leicester City have offered a 3 year professional contract to the player stating that he can further push to play in the first team for the foxes.

While Chelsea’s form this season has been disappointing Leicester City is 5 points short to make it to the title with eight games remaining to close in.

The player will be moving to the Leaders after two years at the Stamford Bridge, further he has also been the regular feature in his country’s Under-19 and Under-23 teams.
