Antonio Conte has agreed for a three year contract with Chelsea according to reports in Italy (cited by talkSPORT).
It has been a while since Conte has been linked with a move to Chelsea and so far things seem to be going the right way as the Italian manager will be taking over Chelsea’s managerial position on a permanent basis.
The manager’s contract with the Italian National team ends at the end of Euro 2016, that way no other club will need to pay any compensation for the manager to join their respective clubs.
According to Corriere Della Sera, Conte has agreed a deal with Chelsea and will be joining the club from the start of next season. Further the deal will run till 2019 and it is worth around £4.5m-a-year.
Further, Conte is expected to bring in most of his staff to Stamford Bridge; however Chelsea’s current assistant first team coach Steve Holland will remain in Chelsea and work along with Conte’s staff.
