Arsenal have moved ahead with bringing in Granit Xhaka into the Emirates Stadium, as they have tabled an official bid of £33.8m for the player.
Reports suggest that the player himself has admitted that he will be leaving the Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer and seems like his destiny is going to be the Emirates.
According to the reports from the Evening Standard, the amount of £33.8m includes various add-ons, while the player’s buy-out clause is worth £19.7m in his contract, however that does not come into effect until next summer, hence with a bid worth £33.8m, Arsene Wenger is looking to close in on any loopholes on bringing the player into Arsenal. Wenger wants the player at Arsenal and is ready to pay him a premium amount to make him play at Arsenal.
To add up to the speculation Xhaka admitted that he may be playing his last games for Gladbach and is looking to sort his future in the club in the earliest.
