Done Deal: Arsenal Complete Second Signing Of The Summer, A Surprise Transfer

Things have moved quickly for Takuma Asano. After confirming that Arsenal had shown interest in him only last week now we have received confirmed news from Telegraph that the Gunners have completed the signing of Takuma Asano from J-League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The deal is already in place only a medical is pending for the player to start wearing the Arsenal jersey. With no history or major injury the medical is thought to be just a formality in the deal. The player is only 21 year old and has five caps for Japan. He is also set to participate in the Rio Olympics next month.

Arsene Wenger has been all praise for Asano and has also mentioned that he is one for the future. The club is looking for a good striker as they want to depend less on Oliver Giroud to provide the goods that can make Arsenal a title winning side.
