Manchester United Deadline Day Updates
Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have now completed the signing of Manchester United’s young midfield superstar Adnan Januzaj on a season-long loan. Though the Belgian international has three years left on his contract with the club and has started three of United’s past four games, manager Louis van Gaal deemed him surplus to his needs at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old superstar was also wanted by Premier League sides like Everton and was also linked with West Ham and Sunderland.
The Red Devils let him leave as United prepared the arrival of French forward Anthony Martial from Monaco for £36m, as a deal was finally completed some time ago.
BVB director Michael Zorc told Dortmund’s website after the deal, “Adnan is a highly gifted and technically gifted player who completes our attacking department.”

Januzaj also put up an image on his Twitter account at the Westfalenstadion with a Dortmund No. 9 shirt.

Further, he has also stated, “Borussia Dortmund are a great club, the fans here are supposed to be really incredible. I want to achieve great things with the team.”
