Deal Done: Chelsea Complete The Signing Of Young Brazilian

After completing the signing of Pedro last week, Chelsea beat West Brom on Sunday afternoon and claimed their first win of the new league season. Further, there was some more good news for the Blues as well, as they completed a deal for teenage forward Kenedy from Fluminense. The 19-year-old Brazilian has already represented his country seven times at Under-20 level.

Kennedy was also part of Jose Mourinho’s side for their pre-season win over reigning European champions Barcelona, as his club granted him the permission to play for the west London side.

Despite that, a deal has only been completed now and the youngster told the club’s official website, “‘I am very happy to complete my transfer to Chelsea.

“It is an exciting time for me to join the English Premier League champions and I hope I can become an important player for the club.”

“I very much enjoyed my time with the squad during pre-season and I am very grateful to Fluminense for allowing me this opportunity.”

Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento, will be wearing the 16 number shirt at Stamford Bridge and could be a star for the future.
