Recent reports have confirmed that Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani has now agreed a deal to move to the Premier League. The player who was on the verge of moving to England in the summer transfer window could now arrive next summer. Though, Arsenal were desperate to sign him, it seems now that he will joining their London rivals Chelsea instead.
The 28-years-old superstar has agreed to join the Blues at the end of the current campaign, which has only bestowed misery upon Jose Mourinho’s side till now.
The west London side are at present winning just one game a month, since the start of the season and lie at 15th on the league table, though they have Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa at their disposal.
The Uruguayan international could be a solution to their scoring problems and the English champions are going all out to bring him to Stamford Bridge, as it would seem.
While the Gunners will be quite disappointed at losing out on Cavani, whether he can make an impact with Chelsea or not remains to be seen.
