Granite Xhaka has agreed on personal terms with the Gunners, the recent instagram pictures of the player in the Arsenal kit has been a huge hint of the same.
Reports suggest that the Monchengladbach midfielder will cost Arsenal a fee in the region of £30m. The player has agreed on personal terms and has completed the first part of his medical ahead of the move to Emirates.
According to Sky Sports the transfer move is done early so that the player can head to Euro 2016 this summer, that is before the start of tournament in France, which would make him one of the most expensive midfielder the Gunners ever purchased.
Reports from Transfermarkt state that Arsenal had only spent this much money to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid and Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, thus Xhaka will be joining some exceptional players and thus will be a part of Wenger’s midfield shuffle at Arsenal this summer.
