Manchester United Goalkeeper David De Gea has been on Real Madrid’s transfer radar for a long time now and this summer too nothing has changed from Real’s side of affairs.
Real Madrid pursued De Gea during the summer transfers last year, however they were not able to complete the move for the player due to incomplete paperwork on the date of Spanish deadline. Further De Gea signed a new contract with United in summer which as we get to hear includes a release clause of £30m.
According to Sky Sports Real Madrid will be going for De Gea once again this summer and are looking to activate the player’s release clause of 30 million pounds.
“Real Madrid will go for David de Gea again,” he told Sky Sports.
“There is already a buy-out clause in his contract at £30m. Real will go for him at that price, that’s for sure.
“People will question why there is a need to go for De Gea if Keylor Navas is playing so well.
“But De Gea will be Spain’s No 1 for the next decade, that’s the quality of ‘keeper they’ll be getting.”
As such De Gea has been Louis Van Gaal’s star player this season as he made fine saves throughout.
