For the third year running, De Gea has been named as Manchester United’s player of the year. The Spanish shot-stopper has been one of the best performers this season in the Barclays Premier League and has been consistent player for Louis van Gaal.
De Gea has kept 14 clean sheets in his 32 appearances for the club and has played a major role in club’s pursuit for the fourth spot.
De Gea posted a picture in his social media account and wrote: “Is a big honour, it’s amazing be named #MUFCPOTY three times in a row! Thanks a lot to everyone again!”
