Why The Current Loan Deal Is The Best Option For This Manchester United Star Despite Jose Mourinho’s Contact With Him

It has been a long while since we’ve seen a wonder kid take the field at Old Trafford and shock everybody for several years, as the last stars from the Manchester United academy (Adnan Januzaj and James Wilson) couldn’t develop their careers with the Red Devils and had to look for chances elsewhere.

Lately, there has been yet another youngster that had to make a move out of Old Trafford in order to get some playing time and develop his game, as he’s a very talented lad that seems way too good to be playing with kids his age, but isn’t quite ready yet to make an impact in the first team; Andreas Pereira.

Andreas Pereira is a 20-year-old Brazilian who is currently on loan at Granada, and whose talent has never been second guessed or doubted by anybody, but that could really find a hard time getting minutes for Jose Mourinho’s side right now.

The youngster plays as a second striker or as a left forward, but he’s yet to make an impact for a Spanish team he plays with, as  they have been struggling for most of the season. He has made 13 appearances so far while scoring one goal and recording one assist, not the most encouraging numbers for an attacker, but I guess he could be bailed out by his team’s lack of offensive chemistry whatsoever.

Now, Andreas has stated that he’s in constant talks with Manchester United’s boss Jose Mourinho, and that’s he’s more than ready to contribute for the Red Devils if they choose to cut his loan short and bring him back during this winter transfer window. However, should Manchester United actually make this move? Let’s discuss it.

Andreas Pereira says he is 'ready' if and when Jose Mourinho needs him at Manchester United

The Red Devils have been struggling mightily to get anything going on the offensive end through most of the season despite having arguably one of the best teams in the world right now, and they could definitely use some help at the left flank of the offence.

However, Jose Mourinho seems like he’s finally decided to get some actual playing time to newcomer Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who can play anywhere on the offensive end of the field with great ease. While Anthony Martial is picking his lost form game after game, so this could be a pure weapon for United.

Considering Memphis Depay is no longer an option for Manchester United and is reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford, bringing Pereira would actually make some sense for United, but definitely not for him.

The Brazilian is a very talented player and he needs time to grow, as his game has still tons of areas to develop, so he shouldn’t be looking forward to a move back home at least for the time being if he doesn’t want to watch his career slip through his fingers.

Jose Mourinho’s team needs a lot of help and should definitely look for several reinforcements during this upcoming winter transfer window, but cutting Andreas Pereira’s loan short won’t be a right move for either side of the deal right now, so they better let him be at Granada until this season ends.
