Conte to make 3 changes – Predicted 3-4-3 Chelsea lineup to face West Bromwich Albion

Predicted Chelsea Lineup To Face West Brom In The Premier League

Chelsea host West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge to wrap up the 27th gameweek of the Premier League. Stamford Bridge has seen some bizarre, unbelievable upsets over the past week or so, something that one doesn’t associate with the Blues and their home form. Their opponents are, however, cemented at the bottom spot of the ladder and are struggling for survival.

Conte provided three days off to his players and will hope that they come into this game full of freshness and not be capsized. The hosts will search for what would just be their second win of this calendar year. A morale-boosting stat for the Blues includes the fact that the Baggies’ last league win came on the 13th of January. The Pensioners vanquished them in the reverse fixture by a 4-0 margin, where Eden Hazard set the field on fire.

Team News

Conte has a long list of injury problems, the latest one being that of Pedro, who suffered an ankle injury against Watford. Andreas Christensen and Ross Barkley will be out due to hamstring issues. Meanwhile, Tiemoue Bakayoko will serve his one-match ban after having picked up two silly yellow cards last time out. Alvaro Morata remains an absentee.

Probable Chelsea XI

The formation should remain the same, Conte’s most favoured structure – 3-4-3. While some changes are forced, others will purely be tactical and obvious. They need to show optimism and most importantly, get Hazard onto the ball early on and start positively.

Manager: Antonio Conte

Formation: 3-4-3

GK: Thibaut Courtois

His form and shot stopping rate have descended to a notable extent. He will have to come out on top in this must-win game.

RCB: Cesar Azpilicueta

Our most copper-bottomed player needs to get back to his best we were beaten by two relegation-threatened clubs. He is one of the most stubborn players to play against.

CB: David Luiz

Luiz must display his leadership and experience in this Chelsea line-up and show the fans and the manager how valuable he is.

David Luiz

LCB: Antonio Rudiger

Rudiger is the most likely one to replace Gary Cahill who had a dreadful night against the buzzing Hornets.

RWB: Victor Moses

Moses should play at right wing-back. His running, ability in the air and dribbling are enterprising attributes.

CM: N’Golo Kante

Nowhere as close to his best since the turn of the year but Kante should start. His energy and sharpness, both on and off the ball will be key.

CM: Cesc Fabregas

The man with a magic hat should return to the starting XI in Bakayoko’s absence. If he finds his passing radar, the Spaniard could lift the spirits of every single Blue in the stadium.

LWB: Marcos Alonso

Chelsea’s most decorated defender this season, Marcos Alonso will play at left wing-back. The high-octane defender will need to provide as many deliveries as possible and get into his groove against the Baggies.

Willian

LW: Eden Hazard

Player of the month nominee for January, Eden Hazard looks like the only one guiding this lost ship at the moment. He will play on the left-wing. It’s best when he cuts inside from this flank.

RW: Willian

Willian should play on the right-wing. He often accelerates with the ball, wriggles past defenders and has a very good understanding with Eden Hazard.

ST: Olivier Giroud

Giroud might receive his first start in Chelsea colours. He brought about an authoritative presence up front when he came off the bench against Watford.
