Conte to make 2 changes- Predicted 3-4-3 Chelsea line-up to face Liverpool in the Premier League

Predicted Chelsea Line-up To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

After a scrappy 1-0 win over Swansea City last weekend, Chelsea will look to continue their fine form as they host Liverpool on Sunday.

While Manchester City have already clinched the title, there is still a lot to play for in the top-four race. That makes Chelsea’s game against Liverpool crucial as they aim to keep their Champions League hopes alive. They need to beat Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Antonio Conte will go all guns blazing against the Reds as this is his last chance to edge closer to the top-four. A win on Sunday will leave Chelsea two points shy of 4th-placed Tottenham, who go to West Brom on Saturday following a win over Watford.

Probable Chelsea XI

Formation: 3-4-3

Manager: Antonio Conte

Thibaut Courtois (GK)

Chelsea’s undisputed No.1 between the sticks, Courtois will retain his spot for the crunch clash against Liverpool.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RCB)

One of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League, Azpilicueta will have an uphill task in containing the Liverpool attackers.

Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill (CB)

Cahill has been fantastic for the last few weeks, delivering from the front. His rejuvenated form will see him start against Liverpool.

Antonio Rudiger (LCB)

After a difficult start to life at Chelsea, Rudiger looks settled and will need to be at his best on Sunday.

Victor Moses (RWB)

Moses has hardly put a foot wrong this season. A player reborn under Conte, the Nigerian has been sublime going forward and has maintained defensive discipline as well.

Marcos Alonso (LWB)

Following a three-game ban for a stamp on Southampton’s Shane Long, Alonso is back and the Spaniard will walk back straight into the team despite Emerson’s fine displays at left wing-back.

Eden Hazard

N’Golo Kante (CM)

The engine of this Chelsea team, Kante works diligently in midfield, reads the game well and creates opportunities for his teammates. He may not have been splendid like last season but his importance to Chelsea just cannot be explained.

Cesc Fabregas (CM)

Fabregas provides Chelsea with a range of passing that no other player can provide. His exceptional passing and crossing abilities make him such a vital player for Conte.

Eden Hazard (LW)

After few uninspiring performances, Hazard is back to life and is breathing fire. His guile and creativity coupled with crazy ball retention make him such a threat to the opposition defenders. He is a sure starter at the weekend.

Olivier Giroud

Willian (RW)

Willian has been a standout performer for the Blues this campaign. The Brazilian has established himself as one of the most fearsome attackers, capable of doing everything. If given time and space, Willian can be deadly.

Olivier Giroud (ST)

The man who is simply bursting with confidence at the moment, Giroud is set to lead Chelsea’s attack and would truly be a handful for the Liverpool defenders.
