Confirmed: Manchester United Will Complete Major Signing On Tuesday

The long drawn transfer saga is at last over…. almost. After the win against Leicester City on Sunday, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba will be joining Manchester United on Tuesday.

‘If he goes well in the medical right?’ Mourinho said to Manchester United’s press officer when asked about Pogba.

‘Which I think he does. I saw him Instagramming. Swimming, karate, running, basketball, football, he does everything, so he must be fit. So yes, Tuesday I will be waiting there for him.’

The player is already in Manchester to complete a medical and also the club has officially announced Pogba’s imminent signing with a twitter message #pogback. The 23 year old left Old Trafford in 2012 and is set to complete the move back for £89 million.

This will make Pogba the most expensive player in the history of football with the nearest competition Gareth Bale’s transfer at £86 million. Manchester United has also confirmed that the player’s current club Juventus has given permission to the French international to undergo medical test at Manchester United. With age at his side and no major injury the medical is likely to be a formality for the return of one of United’s most promising youngsters. This is going to be Jose Mourinho’s fourth signing and would conclude the natural order of business at Old Trafford for this transfer window.
