Confirmed: Conte Is Interested In This Superstar Attacker

Chelsea star Juan Cuadrado spent last season on loan at Juventus and while the Colombian impressed at Turin, the Italian club wanted to sign him at a discount. This gave a rise to tug o war situation between the clubs.

Now Antonio Conte has put to rest all transfer speculation regarding Cuadrado and has told the media that Cuadrado’s future lies at Stamford Bridge and he will not be sealing a permanent transfer to Juventus. The 28 year old player’s impressive performance saw Giuseppe Marotta say that Juventus wanted to sign him permanently but Antonio Conte has been a long time admirer of the player and given the chance he has decided to keep Cuadrado in his team.

Conte wanted him when he was a coach at Juventus but the player moved to Chelsea from Fiorentina instead. Now the Italian manager has spoken out and told everyone that he will come back and train with the squad very soon.

“I wanted him when I was a coach at Juventus and he will come back very soon and train and play with us. Now, he’s a Chelsea player and he’ll stay with us. If something changes you’ll know.”
