Chelsea’s managerial position has been under speculation for a long time as various potential candidates were considered for the same while Interim manager Guus Hiddink managed the team till the time period.
While Jorge Sampaoli, Diego Simeone, Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri were all considered to be the potential candidates for Chelsea’s managerial post, recent favorite in Chelsea’s manager hunt is former Juventus manager Antonio Conte. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Chelsea have already met with Conte’s representatives and have reached an agreement on principle with Conte’ representatives.
Further Gazzetta also reports that Conte and Chelsea’s sporting Director Emenalo were in a walking distance of each other at the Juventus Stadium.
While things are already fast forwarded between both the parties and Gazzetta believes that the deal will be finalized by the end of this week. Further, Roman Abramovich may take his decision his decision in three weeks time Dello reports Conte may sign in before the week ends.
