After the high of beating league leaders Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur  have now picked up two back to back draws and are losing some ground at the top of the table. They were frustrated by a Bournemouth side at Dean Court as they found it hard to break the deadlock on the night. However, they will now have to start thinking about the League Cup game against Liverpool this Tuesday. The manager has recently revealed that he will rotate his squad for the cup games but playing one of the strongest sides in the competition, Pochettino will have to set out a strong team for this game. Here is the predicted lineup that Spurs might field to face Liverpool at Anfield:

Team News:

Pochettino has no new injury concerns to worry about ahead of this trip to the Merseyside. Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld are the only two absentees for this game as Pochettino will have to choose from a strong squad for this clash.

Michel Vorm:

Though not the first choice shot-stopper for the Spurs, Vorm, has been exceptional when called upon this season and will start this League Cup tie against Liverpool.

Kieran Trippier:

The 26-year old defender has not been able to impress enough to start regularly for his side but he should start on the right side of the defense for the Spurs in this game.

Jan Vertonghen:

vertonghen

Growing on to become one of the most important players for Tottenham, Vertonghen should start this game for Tottenham against Liverpool.

Kevin Wimmer:

Injuries to key players in the position will give Kevin Wimmer a superb chance to prove himself to the manager and get back into the starting lineup in the league.

Ben Davis:

Though only a back-up for Danny Rose at left-back, Davis is one of the most exciting players at the club and should start this game at Anfield.

Harry Winks:

Slowly assuming an important position in the midfield for the Spurs, Winks will have to keep putting in good performances when he gets chances like these against Liverpool.

Eric Dier:

Though deserves a rest, Dier will start this game in the midfield for his side to provide some stability against one of the most exciting attacks in the competition.

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool - Premier League

Moussa Sissoko:

Having played just over 10 minutes in the Premier League at the weekend, Sissoko will be in line to start this game against Liverpool on Tuesday.

Dele Alli:

A less than impressive performance against Bournemouth saw Alli subbed off with 20 minutes to go and he should start this game against Liverpool at Anfield.

Joshua Onomah:

The 19-year old midfielder has impressed in the limited outings he has got this season under Pochettino and he should start this League Cup game against Liverpool.

Vincent Janssen:

Though not able to impress enough to warrant a place in the starting XI in the league, Janssen is expected to lead the line for his side on their trip to the Merseyside on Tuesday.
