Chelsea captain John Terry’s contract with the club is set to expire and while the player wants to stay at his lifelong club for another year or two, he has not yet been given any relief regarding the same.

The player is set to have talks with the Blues owner Roman Abramovich, Marina Granovskaia and technical director Michael Emenalo regarding the same.

Terry has been very vocal regarding his wish to stay at the club, however he is said to have accepted the fact that his contract renewal will not occur herein, although hopes do exist for a certain change in heart or mind.

Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte too has not been able to assure the player of his stay at the Blues, stating that the decision rests with the authorities or the Board.

With fans getting more aggressive regarding Terry’s future and the player himself wanting to sort the whole thing around at the earliest, the Blues bosses have decided to finish with the matter before the final Premier League game against the Champions Leicester City at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
