Arsenal have been on the look-out for the teen duo Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze signings, reports suggest, the players are yet to make up their minds with regards to their future club.
The earlier news suggested that the English club has beaten Bayern Munich in signing the duo, with the fee quoted for the deal as £3 million. Nwakali and Chukwueze both were part of Nigeria’s U-17 team in the world cup last November and Nwakali was declared the best player in the tournament.
The duo are the products of Diamond Football Academy whose director Prince Apugo has stated that the player have not made their minds and are yet to decide which club they may want to join.
“Samuel is like my son, I am his legal guardian and I have been taking good care of him for many years now. Likewise Kelechi, so naturally I would want the best for them,” he told News24.
With Arsenal, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are the premier league clubs interested in the players Belgian Club Standard Liege too were looking to sign the duo.
