Latest reports from Dailymail reports that, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain officials are at present trying to finalize a deal for Argentine winger Angel di Maria in a unknown London location.

Despite the efforts, the summer move still looks under threat as the player is demanding £170,000-a-week, which seems totally unreasonable to the Ligue 1 champions. Further, the Mail claimed that the Red Devils’ executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is currently having talks with PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi to find a possible solution to the whole situation.

Previously it was being reported that a deal would be done for a price of around €65m(£46m), but things seem quite complicated at the moment though. Due to the United winger’s high wage demands, the deal might possibly fall out and if that happens, Di Maria might remain at Old Trafford for the time being.

Further, whether manager Louis van Gaal gives him the opportunities to prove his worth or not in the upcoming season, remains to be seen.
