Claude Puel to make 3 key changes – Strongest 4-2-3-1 Leicester XI to face Huddersfield Town

Leicester City predicted line-up to face Huddersfield Town in the Premier League this weekend

Leicester City were soundly beaten 4-2 by an impressive Bournemouth side who have been brilliant in the opening stages of the season. The Foxes have looked good but have failed to maintain consistency in their display.

The Foxes come up against a weaker opposition in Huddersfield Town this weekend and Claude Puel will be aiming to get back to winning ways. The Terriers have been poor this season and are currently languishing in the relegation zone.

Team News

Leicester City have no real injury concerns for the game but captain Wes Morgan will definitely miss out after receiving a red card in the last game. Changes can be expected to be made in order to keep the players fresh between games.

Probable Leicester City XI

Manager: Claude Puel

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Dane has been a stalwart in goal for the Foxes over the last two seasons. He is one of the top shot-stoppers in the league and will start in goal.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

The Portuguese international has looked impressive after making the move to the King Power this season. He should start for this one as well.

Jonny Evans (CB)

The former Manchester United defender should start in the absence of Wes Morgan. He is a talented and experienced defender.

Harry Maguire (CB)

Maguire will be aiming for another strong campaign after signing a new contract with the Foxes this season.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

The youngster has been one of the standout performers for the Foxes this season. He is definitely set to play a key role for Claude Puel.

Wilfried Ndidi (RCM)

Ndidi is more than capable of playing back to back games and should start in central midfield.

Vicente Iborra (LCM)

The Spaniard could start in this game in order to provide Nampalys Mendy with a rest. His passing and defensive contribution will be vital.

Rachid Ghezzal (RAM)

The Algerian has been turning heads over the last two weeks after his inspirational performances so far.

James Maddison (CAM)

Everything seems to be going through Maddison at the moment. He is their main source of supply going forward.

Marc Albrighton (LAM)

Albrighton’s ping-pong passing has always been massive for the Foxes going forward. Claude Puel should field him instead of Demarai Gray.
