City Forward or Chelsea Beast? Who Should Be Your FPL Captain?

Fantasy Premier League  (FPL) Tips for this Game-week

After the international break, the English Premier League is back again. And so is the Fantasy Premier League. And this week has a cracker of a match as Manchester United travel to London to meet traditional rivals Arsenal. While United are ridden with injury problems, Arsenal have failed to impress throughout the beginning of this season and this will be their chance to restore some faith among their fans. Chelsea and Manchester City have relatively easier matches as they play West Brom and Swansea respectively. The Fantasy Premier League managers must consider the following points and arrange their teams according to them.

The captaincy battle – Sergio Aguero or Diego Costa?

There are two clear favourites for the captaincy battle, Sergio Aguero and Diego Costa. While the Manchester City man has displayed some great form over the past couple of weeks and run riot, Diego Costa has been the more consistent of the two. Both the players have immense talent and can earn their owners a lot of points. It looks like at this moment the key to a brilliant gameweek lies in the decision to choose the captain correctly and if that is done properly, the Fantasy Premier League managers will have a huge advantage over their fellow managers. IMO, Ageuro should be the better choice as on his day he can get huge chunk of points for the managers who have him in the side.

Daniel Sturridge out with injury again

This season is turning out to be a disaster for Daniel Sturridge as the Liverpool man is down with a fresh injury yet again. As much this is frustrating for the club, the Fantasy Premier League managers are also being made to face a lot of trouble for this. This time Liverpool have not sit back and launched an investigation to find out the cause of the injury. This is also taking a toll on Raheem Sterling as he is being made to play with a misfiring Mario Balotelli upfront and as a result of which he cannot do justice to his potential.

Time gets tough for Saints

Southampton play Aston Villa on Monday and that is their final match before a grueling schedule. They have so far exceeded expectations and done brilliantly, but now will be the real test for them. It will be hard for Ronal Koeman to maintain the same form and this will worry the Fantasy Premier League managers. While Graziano Pelle and Tadic may still get some new owners, their brilliant defence line will take the worst hit. It will be unwise for the managers to hold on to players like Clyne and Bertrand with such tough times ahead.
