Chelsea will be looking to continue their unbeaten run in 2016 as they will be facing Aston Villa at the Villa Park who is currently is suffering heavily due to their poor run of form. Chelsea somehow managed to grab a point last time when they competed against the Slaven Bilic’s side West Ham United at the Bridge. But, can the team find a comfortable win against the struggling Villa’s side ?
Here is the predicted Line-up for Chelsea which against Villa.
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois-
Did the job quite well in the game against West Ham United in their last fixture of the League and this young Belgian is a tough guy and is not easy to beat. Rumored to leave the club this coming transfer window, this player has been a regular starter with Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink’s side. He is a perfect shot-stopper and at this very young age, has the world at his feet.
Defenders- Azpilicueta, Terry, Cahill, Baba-
This back four of Chelsea was considered to be the best defensive line-up one team could have wished for but, they have been losing their shape since the beginning of this season. With Kurt Zouma out on the sidelines due to injury, the aging skipper John Terry may get his chance in the team. The absence of the young French defender will surely cost the club some way or the other. Ivanovic, on the other hand, may be left out due to his slow pace this season and the Spanish Azpilicueta will be featuring on the right flank.
Midfielders- Fabregas, Willian, Loftus-Cheek, Mikel, Pedro-
With Eden Hazard out injured, the Chelsea side may suffer in terms of pace but Willian can surely bring back some magic in the game. With Willian on the left and Pedro on the right, the team can create some nuisance for Villa’s defenders. Mikel is surely enjoying his first team play under the Dutch manager but his future is not secure. On the other hand, Loftus-Cheek can be deployed as an attacking midfielder to support the forward runs and Fabregas can be a pure headache for Villa.
Striker- Kenedy –
This young Brazilian has impressed Chelsea’s manager a lot. As the club is very doubtful on the return of their Veteran Striker Diego Costa,they have to trust this young talent and as we have seen repeatedly how the young guns can bring the fire back for their respective teams in the league, this Brazilian can show glimpses of his talent by combining with Fabregas and Willian.
