Chelsea’s Brazilian Duo To Unite At France?

PSG’s David Luiz has urged Chelsea striker Diego Costa to accompany him at Paris Saint-Germain. Diego Costa who currently plays as a striker for Chelsea is in high demand in Spain. Although, the transfer ban on Real and Atletico Madrid have led the clubs to think twice before they bring in new players, Costa seems to be one of the top targets of Atletico Madrid.

Luiz and Costa have often had clashes during the games against one another; however Luiz claims that they have always ended their clash on friendly terms. Further, the player insists that Costa may get on your face while on field, but off it, he is one of the nicest guys.

While PSG have always insisted that they add only the best players in their squad, according to Luiz he will be welcomed in the club.

He said: “If Diego decides he has had enough of England and wants a new challenge, he would be welcome here.

“Diego is one of the clinical strikers in Europe and would be a welcome addition to any team. I think PSG have made clear their intent over the last three or four seasons – that we only add the best players.

“Diego and myself have had our clashes. On the field he is physical and confrontational – he will get in your face. That is part of his game. But off the field he is one of the nicest guys you can meet.”

Referring to the Champions League clash between Chelsea and PSG, Luiz said: “I welcome two big battles with Diego, but both games will end with a hug.”

Currently Costa is on a long term deal at Chelsea however, if PSG really wants him, they will have to meet Chelsea’s buyout clause for the player.
