Chelsea scouts are closely watching Alaba and believed to be impressed with the Austrian defender’s consistent displays for Bayern at the top level. He has been a revelation ever since making his mark at Bayern and it will be tough job for Chelsea negotiators to convince Pep Guardiola who will be tacking over as Bayern Munich coach in Summer.

Ashley Cole who was initially expected to leave the club at the end of the season, recently signed lucrative one-year contract extension with the Blues. Since it’s only a one year contract, Chelsea want a proper replacement for Cole even before his contract ends.

It is expected that Chelsea will make a 15 million pounds bid when the summer transfer window opens and will try to seal the deal as early as possible.

In other Chelsea news, their recent target Isco signed a contract extension with Malaga roadblocking any possible move to Premier League.
