And their latest one was the defeat against Manchester United at FA CUP where the Red Devils hindered the progression of Sarri to the next stage. Their biggest defeats have come against Bournemouth (4-0) and Manchester City(6-0) in a span of less than a month. They have dropped now to the sixth of the table
The acquisition of Higuain from AC Milan hasn’t been productive either as the Argentine striker is yet to find the inspiration in the shades of blue.
On the other hand, the City has been relentless since the turn of the year. Pep Guardiola’s men are currently leading the table with the same points as the Liverpool and are yet to face a defeat in 2019.
Their latest win was against Schalke in the Champions League where they produced a comeback eventually leading to the score line 3-2.
