3. Fabregas vs. Gerrard
GerrardThe two assist leaders from the current and last season, their tales are somewhat similar with Fabregas coming into the club and being a bit of a villain by joining Chelsea from Barcelona after having played for Arsenal. Gerrard isn’t a villain, but he will have memories of that fateful game against Chelsea last season where everything unravelled for him and Liverpool.
A victory on Sunday for Gerrard will never erase the pain of the slip but it will let him leave Stamford Bridge with some sense of revenge, even if it means very little in the grand scheme of things.
