The world of football is dominated by players who have established themselves at the highest level but every now and then, there are a couple of superstars that sprout out with immense potential. One such player who is now making waves in Europe is the 17-year-old Italian sensation, Gianluigi Donnarumma. The teenage goalkeeper is the first choice for AC Milan this season and is already playing regularly at the highest level. He is not too far away from a national call-up and though the Italian outfit are ready to offer him record wages, the player has recently decided to move on and is now looking for other destinations.
Mino Raiola, the super agent of the star player, has already revealed that a weekly wage of £165,000 can lure him out of the club at the end of the season. It is a wage on the high side but not many clubs in the Premier League will have a problem with meeting his demands. With an opportunity to snap up one of the best youngsters in world football beckoning, Donnarumma might start off a bidding war in the summer but here are three Premier League destinations that might be perfect for him:
Manchester United:
The Red Devils have the likes of Sergio Romero as back up for David de Gea, two of the best shot stoppers in the league at the moment. But nothing is certain in the current footballing scenario. Romero is wanted in his home country and so is De Gea with Real Madrid sniffing and Manchester United have already turned their towards the Italian. The wage will not be an issue and even if De Gea stays for a while, Jose Mourinho will want to keep Donnarumma as his understudy for a couple of years before unleashing. So the Old Trafford is not a bad place for the teenager.
