Chelsea are looking to sign West Ham United ace Dimitri Payet this summer according to the Sun.
The Blues are currently leading in the race to sign the player, however they are facing strong competition from Manchester United and Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and not to mention West Ham United who do not want to let go of their Star player. Officials at Chelsea have earmarked Payet as the ideal signing to lead the re-building plans of incoming manager Antonio Conte.
According to the reports from the Guardian, Chelsea are looking to sign Steve Mandanda from Marseille, and his move to the Stamford Bridge will pave way for Asmir Begovic’s departure from the club. Mandanda, is set to leave Marseille when his contract ends this month after nine years at the Stade Vélodrome and has expressed an interest in pursuing his career in the Premier League.
“Abroad would be something good at 31,” he said last month after intimating his involvement in the French Cup final, which Marseille lost 4-2 to Paris Saint-Germain.
“It would be a nice adventure on both a sport and a personal level. The two leagues that interest me most are the Premier League and La Liga.”
