English giant Chelsea had a dull season so far and will be looking to not just replace the players, but the club is also on the lookout for a permanent manager.

While the Blues look to sign Saido Berahino they are in advantage as Tottenham Hotspur have lost interest on the player. Berahino is one of Interim manager Hiddink’s targets to cover for his side’s lack of strikers. – Reports Telegraph

Apart from Berahino the Blues targets include Ademola Lookman and PSG’s Ezequiel Lavezzi, the club will have Arsenal compete for the 18 year old Lookman and will be competing against Barcelona and Inter Milan in order to sign Lavezzi.

Recent reports suggest Chelsea’s another addition to the target list is Tottenham Hotspur’ Emmanuel Adebayor. The Times report that Emmanuel Adebayor is a back-up option for the Blues if they are unable to snag one of their main targets this month.

Elsewhere, Baba Rahman is searching for an escape route from the Stamford Bridge. Speaking to the German magazine Sport Bild, the 21-year-old admitted he has found the transition difficult

“Of course it’s frustrating for any footballer to sit in the stands and I don’t want to experience that too much more,” he said.

“As a young player, of course, you have to get used to such a big club and a world-class league. For me the first half of the season was pretty OK but in the second half I really want to play more. Chelsea are one of the best clubs in the world.”
