Not only have Chelsea brought in a new manager this summer, but they have also brought a host of new players to Stamford Bridge increasing their squad strength manifolds. As the early trends have shown, Mourinho will rotate his squad more than any other manager in the league and with so many quality players in his team he can easily afford that. We try to take a look at the expected team formation that Mourinho would use for most of the matches this season.
Petr Cech- From next season Belgian Courtios will be the primary contender for the goalkeeping spot, but till then Cech will do more than a fair job.
Ashley Cole- Till one of the best left backs in the world, if he gets to keep his form, other teams will be in for much trouble.
John Terry- Although one of the senior member of the squad, till he is still a vital aspect of the club and will man the central defence.
David Luiz- The Brazilian has failed to get into the first team Mourinho on a regular basis till now, but still Luiz is special and sooner or later Mourinho will have to take him back.
Branislav Ivanovic- His impact on Chelsea is tremendous and he will definitely have that in plenty this time.
Frank Lampard- He would not have extended his contact at the last season, had it not been for Mourinho, removing most of the doubts he might have had.
Mikel- Though he should not be a regular feature on this team, but he could more than do his job.
Hazard- He had been here for the last season as well and the Premier League fans are aware of his capabilities for sure.
Oscar- The Brazilian playmaker has been fielded by Mourinho this season and he has shown some great talent on the field.
Willian- It is not without any reason that Chelsea have brought him in for such a huge fee and thus Chelsea must definitely use him to the best of his potential now.
Samuel Eto’o- Eto’o will probably be the man to edge past Torres or Ba now that Lukaku is not there.
