The situation of Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has been quite messy, with a number of clubs trying to acquire his services. The Egyptian International, who impressed in his loan term for Fiorentina in the second half of last season, was staying in a hotel in Rome recently awaiting confirmation of a deal to join Roma this summer.
Fiorentina still have the player’s registration through the TMA (Transfer Matching System) and can still prevent a deal till they are paid as per their demands. The 23 year old superstar can neither train or play for any new club till this matter is officially resolved.
The Blues can surely still go ahead and apply for a temporary registration, though once FIFA would get involved, there could be bigger problems for Salah as well.
Despite that, AS Roma published a photograph on Twitter of a training session, which was soon removed to avoid any controversy. However, Italian media outlets like Calciomercato spotted the former Basel star training in the Italian capital as well, which would surely anger their Serie A rivals Fiorentina.
Also, Fiorentina’s Andrea Della Valle last night stated that lawyers were on the case and a solution would be found soon, which means that a transfer can be expected any time in the near future.
