Alexandre Pato’s situation at Chelsea has turned into crazy speculation for some time now. Pato moved to Chelsea in January on loan from Corinthians and his loan period is set to expire at the end of June.
The player has made only two appearances for the Blues this season scoring in one of the games. However, after his two appearances, he has not featured in Chelsea’s first team and this has created a horde of speculations regarding the player’s future at Chelsea or for that matter at Corinthians.
Pato’s rapport with the Corinthians’ fans is not great and this has caused the club to look out for a way to let the player go. With the arrival of Antonio Conte at the Stamford Bridge the club is hoping for some concrete news as Chelsea are mum regarding the player’s future at the Blues. While the Corinthians need to sell him now rather than letting him go in free transfer next season. It is believed that Chelsea have an option of signing the player at £9m.
