Based on reports from Italy’s Calciomercato on Tuesday, Premier League champions Chelsea are in talks with Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola about a possible summer move to Stamford Bridge. Calciomercato stated in a recent headline that it has left Juventus trembling, given the fact that Raiola has previously also said that his client is in contact with interested clubs.
Many top European clubs have been scouting the French international, who is one of the most wanted mid-fielders in world football at present.
Raiola has said this over and over again in the past year about the possibility that the 22 year old superstar might play elsewhere in the upcoming season, if a deal does happen.
If the latest reports are true, the Serie A might be on the verge of losing Pogba this summer to the Blues, who can offer him more money and a chance to return to England.
Pogba currently is priced at about €100m say Calciomercato and it would be no surprise if the west London side have to push for a world record transfer to get their man
Juve on the other hand, were keen on keeping the Frenchman in Turin, but knowing that Chelsea can afford to make such a high offer would surely mean that he might consider a move away. Further, Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo have Pogba splashed across their front page yet again on Wednesday with La Liga champions Barcelona also looking to bring him to Spain, once their transfer ban is lifted.
Now, which club manages to complete a move for the former Manchester United man, remains to be seen, as both European giants will go head to head in an intense race to acquire his services.
