Antonio Conte has arrived at Stamford Bridge and while dormant for most part of the transfer window, Chelsea seems to have woken up and making all the right noises in the transfer market now.
According to latest report from The Express, the Blues are eyeing a move for Swansea star forward Andre Ayew. The player joined Swansea City for free last summer and the report states that the club is ready to sell him for a price tag of £12 million this summer. Antonio Conte wants more options up front and with Chelsea forwards limited at the moment Ayew seems a suitable option.
The Ghana international had a wonderful season last year and has scored 12 goals and given 5 assists in all competitions. The player is said to be wanting to leave the club and Swansea are ready to let him go. The club has also already lined up a replacement should Ayew leave and the target is reportedly Atletico Madrid striker Borja Baston.
